Welcome to the South County Secondary Athletic Booster Club (SCSABC) website. Please see the tabs above for all the Boosters Information!
The South County Secondary (SCS) Athletic Boosters Club is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote, support and create interest in the South County Secondary School athletic program among the students, parents, faculty and community-at-large. We also assist the athletic program of the school by providing financial, advisory and human resource support. Through our fundraising and organizational efforts, we help to provide a broader and richer set of experiences for the student-athletes at South County Secondary School.
Did you know that:
- SCSABC is run completely by volunteers and raises funds through membership, concessions, advertising and merchandise sales
- SCSABC funds the maintenance of all fields (over $60,000 per year) to include fertilization, irrigation systems, purchase of paint for markings and purchase of turf equipment
- SCSABC also contributes for the replacement of uniforms and training equipment for all teams
- These expenses are not covered by FCPS, and represent over three-quarters of the SCSABC available budget.
